Open index compiler network

methodology to verifiable index

METHOD turns a market thesis into a deterministic, evidence-backed crypto index — compiled against SoSoValue data, checked by independent operators, and run as a live shadow product before any official issuance.

No custody. No floating-point money math. No silent zero substitution. Shadow indexes are not investable SSI tokens.

Index launch is broken into disconnected systems

Research, methodology, market data, calculation, demand, rebalancing, and issuance usually live in separate tools. Rules are PDF documents. Operators cannot reproduce each other. Products launch before demand is proven.

Rules are not machine-verifiable

Most methodologies are informal prose. Different operators can produce different baskets from the same text — with no shared evidence trail.

Operations stay centralized

One team controls data, calculation, and reporting. Users cannot download an immutable bundle and replay the round independently.

Demand is assumed, not signed

Teams spend engineering and liquidity before anyone expresses capital interest. METHOD collects non-custodial EIP-712 intents first.

How METHOD works

A single path from mandate to graduation package — deterministic at every step, with public evidence.

1. Mandate

Publish a versioned, schema-validated methodology. Rules are JSON — not a PDF interpretation.

2. Snapshot

Seal normalized SoSoValue observations with content hashes. Corrections open a new snapshot, never mutate the old one.

Learn more →

3. Compile

Bonded operators download the same bundle, run the same compiler, and submit matching output hashes.

Learn more →

4. Shadow

Track forward NAV and rebalances without taking capital. Degraded data is labeled — never zero-filled.

Learn more →

5. Intent

Prospective allocators sign non-binding EIP-712 capital interest. No deposits, allowances, or locked funds.

6. Graduate

Export an SSI-compatible package for review. Official issuance remains permissioned by SoSoValue.

Determinism before intelligence

LLMs may help draft language. They never choose the basket. The final compiler uses fixed-point arithmetic, canonical JSON, explicit tie-breakers, and rejects missing or stale inputs.

Compiler guarantees

  • Weights and prices use bigint / 1e8 fixed-point — never JS floats for money
  • One canonical JSON serializer across the monorepo
  • Independent TypeScript + Python compilers must match outputHash
  • Quorum requires identical hashes — not subjective voting
  • Invalid data is excluded with evidence, never substituted as zero
  • SoDEX plans report unsupported symbols without silent reweighting

Who METHOD is for

Index creators

Analysts, DAOs, and research desks publish mandates, dry-compile against live data, and prove forward performance before asking for capital.

Allocators

Inspect evidence, follow shadow NAV, and signal interest with a non-custodial signature that never moves funds.

Compiler operators

Register, bond, download immutable round bundles, reproduce outputs, and build a public correctness record.

SSI reviewers

Receive a structured graduation package mapped to SSI roles and baskets — without METHOD claiming official issuance.

What METHOD is — and is not

Is

  • An open compiler network for deterministic index methodologies
  • Evidence-backed against SoSoValue data when credentials are present
  • A live shadow-index incubator with capital-intent demand signals
  • A path to SSI-compatible graduation packages for review

Is not

  • An official SoSoValue or SSI issuance product
  • A custodian of user funds or a deposit product
  • Investment advice or a promise of returns
  • Mainnet trading or perpetual futures execution

Start with a methodology. Prove it in the open.

Connect a wallet, draft a mandate, dry-compile against SoSoValue data, and open a compiler round. Every public claim should be backed by a hash you can recompute.
